Shopsterium.com comment:
Well, I absolutely love that he’s paired a sheer button up with a striped top underneath. I’m actually wearing something similar right this moment, so I feel I got this stylish lad’s seal of approval in a weird, even-though-we’ve-never-met sort of way. Super rockin’ outfit, indeed.

Fashion Photographer - Mario Testino
Mario Testino grew up in Lima, the eldest son of a businessman. When he was young he wanted to be a priest. Testino recalls not being popular at school because of his flamboyance. He was good at math and went on to study economics at Universidad del Pacífico, where his insistence on wearing pink flares and platform heels around the campus ensured that everyone knew his name. In 1976 he went to London to study photography living in an unconverted floor of a hospital, without much money, he funded himself by working as a waiter. He had his hair dyed pink which helped him get noticed as a photographer.

The Sartorialist - Scott Schuman
Scott Schuman is the creator of the popular fashion blog "The Sartorialist". After leaving his position as director of men's fashion at his showroom to take care of his daughter in September 2005, he began carrying a digital camera around and photographing people he saw on the street whose style he found striking. He then posted these to his blog, sometimes with short comments, always either favorable or open-minded. He is well known for photographing what have been described as 'real people. Things were fine and DANDY.
According to his public relations bio, Patrick McDonald is known as “Dandy” to the fashionista crowd. This I never knew until I read the bio. The title sort of fits although I don’t think it quite covers it. It also never occurred to me that Patrick had a publicist, although it makes sense – this is New York and he is a man who is seriously out and about. And out and about seriously.
It never occurred to me that he might have a publicist because he doesn’t need one; he’s his own best. Take a look at him. This is a man, no matter where you might run into him — at a party, at a club, coming out of Louis Vuitton on Fifth Avenue, at a benefit — always ready for his (full-length) closeup, and like all pros, he never disappoints. There’s an artistry and discipline in that that is rare these days, even in New York.
